Open House

ACBA is a college unlike anywhere else - and we encourage all interested students to come experience the college firsthand! Featuring presentations from all of our craft specializations, meetings with current and past students, and faculty presentations - all prospective students are encouraged to attend!

Open House is designed to include families and we encourage everyone to take full advantage. We welcome all questions from family members, and want you to feel welcome in this part of your child's life. And if you need additional incentive, you'll be visiting the number 1 city in the world!

Open Houses begin at 9:00AM and typically run until 12:00PM. Generally, students who have signed up for an interview proceed to that portion, while any others who attended head out into Charleston to explore the city!

Interviewing

One of the most important steps in the admissions process is the interview. ACBA is a small, tightknit family and we want to know all interested students as more than just names on an application. The interview is the chance for both ACBA and the student to determine if this is the perfect fit.

Don't be discouraged and worry yourself sick over the prospect of interviewing! This isn't a job interview where you'll be grilled by multiple people and leave feeling unsure of yourself, it's more like getting coffee with a friend. We don't want you to be misled anywhere along the admissions process and we also want to get to know a new member of our community. An interview allows us to cover any area where either side might still have some questions.
